Not, the worst search engine I've ever used

I made the mistake of buying this product thinking I could save some money. Holding it in your hands you may find that the trim level is underrated by your best rangefinders like the Buchnell. If you can't afford the best range finder, just wait until you can. This is an inadequate solution and a waste of money. I'm a club golfer with a single digit handicap and I know what I'm talking about. Just trust me, good luck.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Big and bulky

What great value! - Range finder

I put off writing a review because too many times I've burned myself on products that worked well at first and then failed. Not so with this rangefinder, I've had it for almost a year now and can't say enough good things about it. My buddy bought another brand range finder at the same time (3x what I paid) and I had the best experience. I bought a basic basic range finder with no frills. So if that's what you're looking for, this range finder is for you.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad

It works well, much better than my golf cart

This unit can withstand the usual bumps in a cupboard in golf carts when we embarrass ourselves on the golf course. My hands tremble a little as I aim the block at the green flag. I'm still getting good readings. The only thing I would like to change is that the protective coating on the device is all green instead of black and green. It would be easier to see the cart box on the back. Especially when I put my car away to go home. It's very easy to forget when I'm not sitting green side out.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great budget range finder

My old Leupold laser range finder was having display issues and needed to quickly get something for an upcoming golf tournament. Nexus, about half the price, works better. I'm a bit shaky when trying to get the distance, but the Nexus was able to lock the stylus most of the time. It takes a little longer to cover the distance, but that's not a problem. The plastic body doesn't feel as solid as the more expensive models, but time will tell how durable it is. So far this is a good deal for the…

Very good replacement for "Top " range finder.

Exactly. Excellent price. No worse than Bushnell or Nikon with comparable characteristics. It took some time to get used to the different look and feel in the viewfinder. It's not a big deal to hold the button for 2-3 seconds before you get the distance. I wish the carry case was bigger - every time you need to slide a range finder in. And because of the stickiness of the rubber at the proximal end, the cut grass will stick to the device. But if you're looking for a cheaper option that's just…

Cool range finder.

My home course was renovated last year with changes to many holes. My GPS watch works well on courses with no hole changes but not far from reconstructed holes and will have problems until they are remapped. So I decided to buy a range finder. It had good reviews and an amazing price. All my golf friends have rangefinders that cost hundreds more. My Nexus measures quickly and saves money over the distance. I wasn't looking for one that would adjust for inclines or other factors, just read…

Accurate, works great but not perfect

I've worked at Bushnell for a long time but between customer service and two v2 releases about 8 years later I thought I'd try something new. One of the things that drew me to PP, besides the price, was that they personally respond to reviews here and also post on Golfwrx. First, like the Bushnell, it is accurate to within 1 yard. The profile is comfortable with rubberized grips but I wish there was leather for more protection/cushioning. Love that it's white as it contrasts nicely with the…
