My old Leupold laser range finder was having display issues and needed to quickly get something for an upcoming golf tournament. Nexus, about half the price, works better. I'm a bit shaky when trying to get the distance, but the Nexus was able to lock the stylus most of the time. It takes a little longer to cover the distance, but that's not a problem. The plastic body doesn't feel as solid as the more expensive models, but time will tell how durable it is. So far this is a good deal for the money.
