Nice appearance but little shine

I like their color and they are pretty decent lenses. However, the difference with the original Oakley lenses is that they are definitely brighter when exposed to sunlight with a slight flare. With Oakley lenses you could look at the sun if you wanted to and it really didn't bother your eyes that much, but you can't do that with these lenses. Maybe darker lenses from the same company will have a better effect?

Pros
  • Perfect fixation
Cons
  • Compatible with only a specific model of Oakley sunglasses, limiting its versatility and usefulness to a wider range of users.

Good looking but a little garish

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great for the price

After Lasik I had a pair of Oakley prescription sunglasses that I could no longer use. It was a pity to waste an expensive frame. I tried to get replacement lenses from Oakley, they charge $80-$100. I found them and decided to try them for $14 or $15. They fit perfectly and offer 100% UV protection which I need after Lasik and are polarized. Very happy with the lenses considering the cheap price. I may invest in a pair of 580P Costas later, but so far so good.

Pros
  • Men's
Cons
  • Damaged

Ok, but not very suitable.

Lenses look good and match the frame. But like everything made in China, they just didn't quite get it. The lenses fit freely in the frame. I've tightened the screws as tight as I could and the lenses are still in danger of popping out. They should include new lens screws, but I'm not even sure that would help. I'll wear them as long as I can, but expect to have to change my glasses pretty soon anyway. Oakley wants $100 for replacement lenses, so I just buy a new pair of glasses for $130.

Pros
  • Replacement lenses for sunglasses
Cons
  • That annoys me
