Our Colored Coded Restrictors may be coded different than others. Please refer to our Color Code: | Black: 50 GPD | Blue TIP INSERT: 75 GPD | Green TIP INSERT: 100 GPD |. ***Please choose the correct size flow restrictor: 50, 75, or 100 GPD. ***The 75 GPD & 100 GPD Flow Restrictors are Tube INSERTS. Muffler pipe missing?

The green 100 gpd did not come with a tiny pipe/muffler that detached from the green part as shown. I only have the green part and no tube so it's very noisy as it restricts flow :/

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Some bugs

Good product! on Kitchen & Bath Fixtures

After checking Oceanic Water Systems' website to determine what part I needed, I ordered a 50GPD waterline. This product did exactly what I needed and only took about 60 seconds to install! Happy camper is here!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Got Nuances

The high cost of a necessary element in a reverse osmosis system.

This little device works great. It works just as well as the bigger, more expensive ones. This is great value. You will get fast shipping from this company. You need this little article to save water in your reverse osmosis system. It limits the flow of sewage. Match the restrictor to the GPD of your reverse osmosis membrane.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great product in kitchen & bathroom

Did exactly what it was supposed to. I bought a 5 stage RODI unit which discharged excess sewage and for this reason would not let the booster pump work. This put it at perhaps a 1:1 ratio, if not better. Very easy to install. ** It is tiny both physically and packaging. Didn't realize it came in a box with another item I ordered and almost threw away.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Communication with seller

how to use it

The limiter arrived without instructions. Presumably it needs to be placed in a drain line to restrict flow through the membrane, but I can't figure out how. My sewer line is just a 1/4" pipe that allows water to run down the driveway. I attached a plug to the end of the pipe, but I knew it wouldn't stay there, and of course it didn't. A little water pressure met him. immediately. also on the revain picture there are about 8 different color guards to be used with different GPD systems. I wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Was damaged

It works! And it costs so little. . .

I bought this flow restrictor from these guys after searching everywhere to find out what a flow restrictor is and how to choose one and these guys had the best raw data on what they sell . They made it easy. I selected what I needed, it arrived a bit slow (premium post should work better than anything else), I pasted it and it worked. No moving parts; I'll probably never need one again. (Whoever was the guy who trashed those vendors because the cat broke his bonds, let's take a look at hisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Water Filtration & Softener

Does it make more water, no. Does it reduce water consumption, yes.

All the reviews on this product say they love it, but how do they know it works? I decided to do a simple test to find out. I have three 7 gallon jugs that I use to store RODI water in my brine tank. I chose to put the white hose (RODI water with a TDS of 0) in 1 jug and the black hose (effluent from the reverse osmosis membrane in the other jug). I then set a timer and turned the unit on for 1 hour and noted the water level in the jugs. Here are the results: First lesson. Well, there are noโ€ฆ
