My Passat's heating has switched off. My husband found the problem and ordered the part and she fixed it. Much cheaper than other parts stores and it was the right part.

This item was a direct replacement for my 2015 VW Passat. I did not use one of the mounting holes as it was difficult to reach and cut it instead as the remaining mounting points made the product more than sturdy enough to use.

So two weeks ago my car had hot side and cold side due to the mixture I have door motor failed when I was in St. Louis in 90 degree weather. I found out the exact problem by scanning my 2016 VW Passat SE with the ODB 11 tool. They told me exactly what the problem was, I ordered the part and then someone installed it. It took them 45 minutes to install and then wow them. My dual AC worked just as well as it did when it left the factory.

It works like a charm, but if you're a die-hard DIYer, take your time installing it. I have a VW Passat and VW hides this part behind many other parts making it almost inaccessible. When you get there, you have little room to work. However, with patience, perseverance, and a little ingenuity, you can get the job done. Updated with additional information. After all this hard work this spare part didn't even last a year, I bought it in May 2021 and now in March 2022 I need another one.
