I bought these for my daughter and thought at first that 5 blades meant 4 refills but I was wrong, a 5 blade cartridge. okay, my mistake. But after one use and two days, the blades were badly rusted. Maybe it's our fault too, but most razors available now don't. However, I have found that the grip fits another brand that is cheaper and less prone to rusting, so we still use the grip.

I believe this seller is intentionally trying to make customers believe they are ordering 3 razors instead of 1. Why not show one razor in the main photo (or put "ONE RAZOR" in the item title) and then show another color variety in additional photos? Even the Product Description section doesn't state that this listing is for a single razor until more than halfway through the overly verbose text. Ever since I switched to safe and non-toxic beauty products, I've also wanted an eco-friendly razor. This razor is very thin and as other reviews have mentioned the razor head came off every time it was dropped in the shower. This product also caused me severe razor burn. In the end I returned it. I'm still looking for an eco-friendly and safe razor.

This product is not cheap so I put off buying canned goods for a while. ONE is a heavy duty handle that comes with ONE spare razor (five blades in one, not one blade with five spare heads, despite one sad reviewer who seemed confused). I LOVE the Preserve razor! I had horrible rashes on my legs after shaving and it turned out I was allergic to nickel which is found in regular razors. Now my rash and itching are gone. When I first tried Preserve razors many years ago, I didn't like them, but their design has been greatly improved. They are now more stable than Venus and other regular women's razors I've tried in the past. I love that they're eco-friendly which is why I use and love Preserve toothbrushes, plus they're BPA-free.

I love how environmentally friendly this is. I am very unhappy that there is some kind of moisturizing adhesive strip on the razor blades. I have very sensitive skin and get contact dermatitis/eczema very easily. Sticky strips of moisture are now causing horrible itchy eczema on some very sensitive areas. I switched to this razor hoping to be a little more eco-friendly my personal Reduce waste, but unfortunately this product is not as environmentally friendly as I had hoped. The only thing made from recycled material is the handle. The blades themselves are not made from recycled material and cannot be recycled through regular community programs, and Preserve does not offer a recycling program for its products.
