Not received as shown. Very bad quality!

Thread sealant and finger protection plug shown. The item I received did not have either. It came in a small box with the sender in a small plastic bag. The numbers match, so it should work. Additional information after installation. Update 1/29/21, leaks and inaccurate readings. Buy AC Delco!

Good oil pressure in parts

My 2006 Suburban Chevy oil pressure dropped occasionally while driving. I have replaced the gear unit with this and I know the oil pressure is holding up as it should. The hardest part was getting to this part but with some help on the internet I managed to do it. Besides replacing the part, I had to unscrew the old one and screw in the new one.

  • Surprising
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Wrong thread: spare parts

Product does not fit, thread does not match and cannot be screwed in. Also, since I bought by mail order, I had to reinstall the old one twice. I decided it was best to disconnect the fuel line and find something solid that was at least as high as the bumper or higher. I also bought a socket from AMZN $7. So! I had to order three times in total, bought somewhere else the third time. Revain is still rock! (General).😄

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

Powered by C6 Corvette. But I'm still having trouble after a year

I'm happy to report that this fits the C6 Corvette Convertible. And the most important thing: it works. hope it lasts And I recommend getting an outlet for it. I needed the station wagon and the extension at the vet because they are difficult to reach. But I got it. Update July 4, 2020 The oil switch is going crazy and it's not even a year old. I just thought you should know.

Pros
  • Great for me

Works but hard to come by on some trucks.

Just changed and works as it should. It's a pain in the butt to change. It's just inconvenient to get there. I modified this in a 2004 Chevy 1500. It is located at the rear of the engine between the engine and bulkhead. You have to feel it (can't see it). The setting that worked for me was a 1 and 1/16 inch deep socket. Slide the ratchet over the 10" extension with the swivel connecting the extension to the base. When your truck is lifted, you lie across the engine. Approach from the driver's…

Fixes my 2007 Silverado

2007 Chevy Silverado. Check engine light came on for oil pressure sensor/switch high voltage. The gauge showed no oil pressure. That was the right part. It is located behind the intake manifold and must be changed by touch. This is not easy and requires a short extension with a universal (pivoting or pivoting) ratchet. The total exchange time was about 45 minutes. I recommend using a REAL oil pressure sensor bushing instead of a standard deep bushing. The pins on the sensor are not routed like…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not bad but...

This worked perfectly for my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. The part itself is in a VERY awkward spot on the engine but doable It would have taken me the full 20 minutes if I had had the Tahoe oil pressure gauge on the right head, which read constantly high or full oil pressure (80psi) and occasionally zero fell off. I knew the problem was the sensor by turning the key without starting the engine and the gauge read high/80psi. This change also caused the check engine light to go out.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Cleanliness

I didn't cut the mustard!

I bought this block to replace a worn original block on my 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 L33. It was replaced in the summer of 2020 by a reputable mechanic along with a new oil pump, mesh etc. Less than 3,000 miles after this unit was on my car it failed. I drive 60 km one way to work, on the way home I smelled oil. I followed the gauge and it was over 40psi. Typically operates at 40-60psi cruise pressure). I had to go to the doctor. I still kept an eye on the sensor and let it idle. I noticed clouds of
