I recommend this product.

Purchased Dan's Oil Filled Car Tire Gauge after a terrible experience with a competitor's oil filled car tires that had an internal pressure relief button. Even though I followed the competitor's instructions exactly, ie holding it upright, only turning the knob a quarter turn, etc., this gauge released oil and filled the gauge. This large pressure gauge features a sturdy construction and liquid-filled case. However, I find it problematic to use. Apparently it's difficult to position it properly on the rod shaft to get a reading - the needle refuses to move even though the cartridge is properly attached to the rod. After you swirl the cartridge and get a reading, it's only partially captured. You have to squirm a little more to get full pressure. This is an incredibly well made heavy duty tire gauge. From first impressions you would expect it to be tried and true but last forever. Unfortunately the first one I got didn't work properly.
