, I wanted a higher quality, longer lasting, easy to read sensor (not reading glasses) that I could TRUST. So far, so good. I have compared the pressure gauge to other testers in my workshop and it reads accurately. The measured air pressure remains (even after removing the tire) until the button on the housing is pressed. Resets the display to zero. It has metal parts, durable rubber to the touch. jacketed hose, metal bus connector (threaded for retrofitting to a different connector type) and an impact-resistant heavy glass pressure gauge in a high-quality rubber sleeve. Reliability will tell but so far I am very satisfied as it seems well made and durable. Exactly what I was looking for, except it's not made in America. I would pay even more to see the good old made in USA stamp front and center. It's a keeperUpdated review 2019: Still working great after a few years. It's very nice to have a quality thing in the garage that doesn't require any hassle with batteries.
