Let me explain - Hand tools

My only star is that the manufacturer did not identify this reflex hammer as a left handed reflex hammer. What difference are you talking about? Well, the active Humvee is below, not above. HAHAHA

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great for kids Doctor's Bag

Instead of buying my kid an imaginary doctor's bag with fake plastic instruments, I decided to make my own with functional hardware. It was perfect for his gear and reasonably priced enough that I wouldn't be too devastated if it broke.

Pros
  • Easy to Install
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other

Too Light!: Hammers

If you want a reflex hammer that actually elicits a reaction from your patient, look elsewhere. It's so light it's almost impossible to use (and the rubber head isn't soft). I tried it out for a day on my office visits and it went into a drawer never to be used again

Pros
  • Pretty Packaging
Cons
  • Clarity

Not good value for Hammers

I need this for a NP school for a physical assessment course but now I can't spend a tad on another. This hammer isn't very good at triggering reflexes (especially the biceps tendons). It's pretty light and I have to use enough force to even get the patellar response. I guess I can get that cheap.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Negative impression

Suitable for some reflexes, not for others

Suitable for knee and Achilles tendon reflex. You'd have to be a god to pinch a finger or squeeze a patient to trigger a bicep, tricep, or brachioradialis reflex with this hammer. After those reflexes, you might want to look into the Queen's Square Reflex Hammer. Also, it's a well-designed reflex hammer at an affordable price.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Useless functions

Works perfectly! fits Hammers

I finally bought this on the recommendation of my acupuncturist who showed us a treatment using this tool to fix my daughter's blown pupil (I'm a medical student almost finished with the program and for the life of me it doesn't make sense, but it works). The demolition hammer is lightweight and not expensive at all. Highly recommended if needed! I also highly recommend this test for medical students who want to practice the Reflex/Bubinsky test.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • little things

I was disappointed with this reflex hammer

I was disappointed with this reflex hammer. You may think that all reflex hammers are of equal quality and cause contractions, but they are not. This is one of the cheapest plastic cases. Some reflexes can still be triggered with it, others are more difficult. Also if you are testing a reflex if you have to put your thumb on a tendon, the hard plastic will hurt after 2-3 tries. Better buy another reflex hammer in the $15-$20 range, you won't regret it.

just what i need

Professional quality reflex hammer for the physician who values physical diagnostics. The attractive black color is a good alternative to the traditional orange and chrome tomahawk. There are cheaper alternatives, but they ship quickly and serve my purposes well. The usefulness of this medical device depends on the skill of the operator and this device works well.

Pros
  • Hammers
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not exactly purple, but a good product.

The reason for the 3 stars is that I'm a fan of Lila😍 and would like to see the review and picture by Roger Webb before purchasing. I was looking for a REAL purple mallet like the picture and when I opened the package I was disappointed with the colour. Advertisement should be changed to reflect true color apart from the product itself being good.

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Small Stuff
