Bought to replace a broken one. Works perfectly!

The pressure gauge on my 30+ year old pressure cooker is dented and no longer works. This part helped and now my pressure cooker works like new!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • No instructions

Yes it is a pressure gauge

Works great but useless. I've cooked without one for so long it just confirms what I already knew. Although cool, interesting to watch. :)

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

Original product, nut is missing. Crazy!

I'm talking about the original product to avoid complications. It is strange that there are no nuts in the kit and the old one does not fit. I had to go to Home Depot and it took me a while to figure out it was plumber's thread and not regular. They definitely need to fix that.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I have doubts

need a nut for kitchen and dining room

I don't see it as a replacement if it differs from the original. The thread is different, but there was no nut, the old nut didn't work, because one was national, and the other, of course, just lucky I collected various bolts and nuts in the store and found a suitable nut. The replacement should be the same.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Not like in the photo! good for small appliance parts and accessories

Presto 85-729 pressure pot gauge Whilst not as pictured it came in a box marked OEM Presto Part and the gasket was fine. It fit perfectly and everything went well with my can. I really wish it was like the photo as the photo was exactly the same as the one I took from the cannery. The kg dial was a nice feature.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Modern

Avoid. No nut and wrong thread. Not like in the photo.

Old nut will not fit new gauge and nut is not included. There are several reviews on this issue and nothing is done to resolve the issue. How hard is it to turn the right nut. Save yourself time and hassle and avoid this product. Go to HD or Lowes to find the right nut. The product sent is not the one in the photo or in the order.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Reliability

The manometer may have helped prevent botulism.

I drilled a 1/2" hole in the top of the plate. socket installed. Screw the pressure gauge into the socket. Good work. Have found that my 15# weight only gives me 12-13lbs of push. (at 7300 feet). After adding the gauge I had to add about 1 1/2 inch of copper tubing to the weight. This gave me a print of 16#. The extra weight also gave me a more stable print. It was not possible to reach a temperature of 240 degrees with a weight of 12 to 13 pounds. That's my thought.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Metric size 10.x 1.0 required

Goodman shipped me this sensor. I received it in about a week. It comes with a rubber grommet that fits onto the pressure cooker lid but no nut to secure it during the pressure cycle. I have a feeling they will tell me I don't need it so I experimented with it. After this experiment, I decided it would be unwise to trust the security of this sensor without this mother. Requires a 10 x 1 metric nut which can be hard to find. We've been watching all week. None of your local hardware stores will…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
