When I received the cover I purchased I was disappointed to find that the 'depth' was TOO small for a standard sprinkler pipe, although the height and width matched my measurements. I live in a new modern house (3 months old) and the sprinkler piping was installed by a professional company so it's very standard. Use this insulating cover to protect the oddly shaped bib that we find in our flower beds. It was too high, so I folded it up and secured it with an elastic cord. We've had temperatures as high as 11 degrees (unimaginable in San Antonio, Texas) and below freezing for several days, so I put an empty box on top to block the wind. It seemed to work - nothing was leaking from the faucet and there wasn't a single broken pipe. It was located on the south side of the house and used geothermal energy.

I bought this because the summer heat here in Vegas sometimes makes my tap water too hot to use. After coating my return pipes with it, I noticed that the temperature of the tap water dropped significantly! Although it didn't get the water to a "cold" temperature when it's 110F outside but I think it solved my problem which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. This product is very well made. I find the packaging size (20x20) larger than my reflux tubes, although this doesn't really affect the functionality of the product. And I'm pretty sure it will fit any future check valves I have. The velcro is well designed and provides a snug fit at the open end of the bag. Alternatively or in combination, you can put a lock in the sleeve holes or simply close them with a cable tie. Finally, the color of the product (sand) is very neutral and doesn't stand out,

I submitted a sizing question and would like to report results. Firstly, this cover is clearly of very high quality and the color is much better than advertised. It's a pale green color that should almost disappear behind the plants. The Velcro on the bottom is very strong and secure. The only question you need to answer is what size you need. The 24 inch length is standard and fits everyone. The width measurement is a bit tricky. The product is not scarce. It stretches without wasting too much
