TERRIBLE HARD (can hardly break) venison FULL of bones and get it. Very disappointed as it is $30 for 14 ounces and I bought 2 believing it would be the same quality as any other primroses we have purchased in the past! Funny and very embarrassing! I will not feed this to my dogs

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • vulgarity

High quality and our Shih Tzu loves it!

My 2 older Shih Tzus LOVE them. I started adding them because my older Shih Tzu stopped eating his regular food. My friend gave them to me to try and he started eating again so we started mixing them with his regular food. We later found out that he probably stopped eating this regular food because it was too hard for him to chew, so the food wasn't a problem as long as we soaked it in warm water first. But they both seem to like it so much that we kept adding it to their regular meals anyway…

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Ideal for dogs with IBD

I am so glad I found this dog food. My Havanese was born with severe IBD. He was so sick for months. We've done so many food tests; He would not eat the processed HP food my vet recommended. I did a study and found that IBD patients do really well on a very low-fat diet like venison. I've tried limited ingredient venison chow, I've tried Party Animal wet venison chow, Lotus wet venison chow; either my dog would still be sick or would just not eat the food (he is also incredibly picky). We've…

The perfect topper for a fussy dog

I have thought long and hard about feeding my 1 year old boxer raw food. The only thing that stopped me was time and money. I discovered Primal's freeze dried nuggets and thought I'd use them as a filling for his kibble. My dog is VERY picky about food, but now when I add these nuggets (dry or moistened) to my food, he eats all of his food right after I hatch it. Also, he has a sensitive stomach so I was concerned how he would handle the switch to her with his food. I immediately saw better…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Great for your pet with the right ingredients

I have three dogs and they all love the taste of venison the most. They put him to sleep. To the lady who complained about microscopic bones in her food in another review, don't you read the ingredients before giving any to your pet? The ingredients literally say "GROUND DEER BONES". So it's not a secret, it's on purpose. They're not sharp, they're not big, your dogs won't choke on these little frayed bones. I have two three pound Yorkies and a Chihuahua. They all do well with this food. Wolves
