This mattress is really soft and comfortable. It's thick enough to sleep right on the floor if needed. I bought this as an alternative to an air mattress as the description said it was foldable and the seller confirmed in the question asked that it was foldable. Explanation: It may be rollable like all foam mattresses, but it is not a portable mattress that can be folded and stored.

HUGE PROBLEMS. THIS IS TOO BEAUTIFUL. I can't get up in the morning. Ever since I got this mattress, I've been running late. I found RANDOM relatives sleeping in MY bed. We bought a twin size for our 4 year old daughter. I would say the softness is between medium to soft and it's very comfortable. We opened it about 5 hours after it arrived and it expanded in about an hour. We still waited 48 hours to sleep on it but it wasn't necessary. It doesn't smell at all and you can feel several layers of the mattress when you touch the edges. It looks very high quality, especially since most mattresses in this price range are 3-layer.
