High-performance Chrome 2-Speed Heavy Duty Fan by Prime Products (06-0850) Review

Bought three of these for our horse trailer. When we're out we have good ventilation, but when we're stuck in traffic and it's hot the horses need some air movement. It was the ticket. They have two speeds and move a lot of air. The marine grade finish prevents them from rusting. They're a good size and don't interfere with conveniently mounting to the side of the trailer from the rear. Sturdy construction, beautiful appearance, breathable and rustproof. Ideal for horse trailers.

We installed these in our RV by connecting them to a 12 volt lamp circuit under the front cabinets above the dash. They work well and provide a cool breeze when riding on hot days. We can do without switching on the air conditioning, which saves fuel. Two speeds are great. We use high speed when it's hot and low speed just to keep air circulating. After installing 8 of these and then installing a Maradyne 3000-12 fan, there is no comparison which one to buy when you need airflow. Prime Products fans have been used in forklift truck cabs to keep operators cool. I quickly decided to buy them because I needed to buy something for the operators. They were about 10 inches from their heads. You could barely feel the airflow on your head and they wanted me to find a better fan. Most if not all of these 6-1/2" fans are low quality, mass-produced
