Pull up the hardware!

Although you could find the same number of tubes for $5 I ended up losing 5 times more. I've bought $5 tubes before, but they turned yellow after less than a month of use. Of course, if you're the kind of person who doesn't care about looks, this $5 tube is more than functional and I wouldn't recommend spending more. Now these tubes come out of the box really inflexible. Putting on compression fittings was a huge nightmare until a friend suggested I dip the ends in hot water to soften them. It…

I've been using 3/8" x 5/8" for years and never thought about it. Works, doesn't drip. But this time I decided to try 3/8 x 1/2 inch. I actually like it more. It's much easier to put on fittings and dissipates a little more heat on its own since it's thinner. The downside is that after a while it gets a little harder to remove from the fittings. I think this is because it cracks from temperature flux and, being thinner, tends to stick to the fitting. Actually not bad. Just a little more effort…

  • Includes FREE Utopia Fluid and SysPrep Cooling Circuit Pretreatment

A pipe is a pipe, right?

I am new to PC water cooling but I can tell you everything is so expensive. With this tube you get at least pre-treatment rinses and anti-algae/anti-corrosion solutions. As far as I know, this whistle is best for business, better than just going to a department store and buying a cheap whistle. This is because the plastic material in the hose gets into the water system faster. I wouldn't be surprised if this tube ended up doing the same thing. The best hose type would be EPDM hose (black). EK…
