Worked perfectly between MacBook Air and old printer

I was very happy to find this cable after my wife got a new MacBook Air that only has USB-C ports. Right now we've had to go back to an old laser printer that doesn't support wireless because our wireless inkjet printer ran out of ink ($80 for at-home inkjet ink is ridiculous, but I digress). Either way, the cable performed phenomenally, allowing her to print directly from her new MacBook without the pesky button (seriously, Apple, more buttons?). The cable is slightly thinner than other cables

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • boring packaging

It was important.

I have a US Cutter Laserpoint II vinyl cutter and I'm having trouble getting USB to work with my thumb drive on my 2019 MacBook Pro with Big Sur. This cable changed everything. None of the cables worked through the USB dongle and I tried 5 different USB B to USB A cables on this USB C hub. Too bad nothing worked. I needed a direct link. Also, I needed to download FDTI drivers that would work with Big Sur. Those listed on the USCutters support site are out of date and will not install on a newer

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Will NOT work with PreSonus AudioBox USB and 16 " MacBook Pro

I bought this cable to use with PreSonus AudioBox USB and my 16" MacBook Pro with Logic Pro X 10.5.1. Unfortunately, when using this cable, the audio interface is not recognized correctly. To do this, the interface must be recognized as "AudioBox USB" in the device settings. Instead, with this cable, the data is garbled and recognized as "IOUSBHostDevice". The cable can supply power to the audio interface, but no data transfer takes place. Meaning: The interface appears to be on, but when you…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive
