The wireless option on the HP printer has become unreliable. The cable that originally came with the printer is only about a foot long, making it almost impossible to use. But the printer works fine when I have a direct connection between the PC and the printer and the cable (this one) is long enough to put the PC on a different table than the printer.

I bought two of these for my electronic drum kit and MIDI keyboard. They are long enough to reach across the room (15ft), I like the bright red color so people don't trip over them. The woven shell makes them very strong to step on repeatedly. I had no trouble connecting my MIDI drum kit to my PC. I had very low latency and a reliable connection with no signal loss in my experience with over 20 hours of playtime. That's why it wasn't difficult for me to get the second one for my MIDI keyboard.

Excellent Printer Cable! I was having problems with my Canon multifunction printer but was not able to troubleshoot unless it was connected using the USB cable which did not come with the printer. I have read many reviews of my Revain printer and found one review that described exactly what type of cable I needed. Although they are advertised as printer communication cables I actually bought them for something more delicate/demanding. They connect 6 different digital audio production/DJ devices to my computer. They provide power and high-speed connectivity for devices and work just as well, if not better, than the custom cables they replaced, which cost $30 each.
