I bought two of these kites for my girls. Although the kites appear to be very well built and strong, each kite has a steering line. were about 6 inches longer than the others, resulting in the kite deploying immediately at launch. As a child I had several kites. They all sucked. They were too difficult to set up, or when I installed them I broke them, broke spikes or whatever it was that broke. Full disclosure. I am very stingy when buying toys. I love spending money on toys, but nothing annoys me more than buying something kids rarely use and then just throwing it away! Keep this in mind.
