Strings Tangle Nightmare

Read the reviews - everything says it's easy to use for beginners and handy for anyone wanting to learn how to fly a kite. Even read reviews with kids using it. I'm no genius but I do martial arts, extreme sports, run my own business and consider myself capable of accomplishing most things I set my mind to. It didn't matter with this kite because unfortunately whoever built it sent it to us already entangled. The blue and red lines crossed at the junction with the dragon. That made flying impossible. Because it rose, and then immediately turned sharply in one direction and fell down. After untangling that part and stretching the entire string, we quickly realized that this was a huge mistake. This is absolutely the worst thread out there. When the thread bumps into itself, it immediately bends and ties. Any friction and you have knots. It quickly turns into a mess that takes hours to unravel. I spent most of my first day of flying today untangling a mess of knots in one of the two lines. You can read this and think - okay, don't let him get confused. Know how to deal with lines. Well, let me put it this way: I fish underwater and untie the line attached to the fish underwater with tackle and the fish swim diligently for their lives and I've had fewer problems with that than today. Anyone who owns this company should consider switching to something braided.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
