Excellent fine tip markers. Colors flow very well and don't run

The markers are perfect. Prismacolor always delivers. I've tried these markers on 3D graphics and they help with the smallest details. The clock on the clock in the tiny picture can do these buttons. Doesn't run or bleed.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I use these pens for fine drawing

I have used these pens in the past and will likely use them in the future. They make a very thin line and I've used them with watercolor, alone and with other markers. If I use ink in a pair of pens, I buy a new set.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Compatibility

Inkless in Seattle. :D

Sometimes markers are just great. But a few times I get black thin lines and they don't work. Dry? Very frustrating. and maybe it's time to try another brand. Prismacolor has been my brand since I first dabbled in art. newbie for sure. Anyone else have this recurring problem with black marks with a thin line?

Pros
  • Includes: Black, Red, Blue, Green, Brown, Purple, Orange and Sepia Art Markers
Cons
  • Damaged

My favorite pen/marker.

I write a lot in a handmade magazine. It was hard to find a pen that didn't leak (fine point) and pens that didn't dry out (standard ballpoint). They fit perfectly and I love that I can get creative with my color choices. I bought them about 6 months ago, I use them every day and so far there is no sign that they are not drying yet. It's an investment but I think it's worth it. They are also great for art projects. Good color gloss, no streaks. Everyone who has used them loves them.

Pros
  • The ink is acid-free, lightfast, permanent, waterproof, smudge-proof and doesn't run on paper
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Crisp, vibrant fine lines

I needed fine-tipped colored pencils for the small art projects I do to stay sane. I have a spiral drawing that looks a bit like an old spirograph toy (yes, I have a spirograph too, but I only use ballpoint pens). I also like mandala coloring pages. These pens are perfect for what I do. They're not great for painting more than a small area, but I mostly sketch or draw thin lines with them and then use a different set of pens to color in that area. Next time I might use double tip pens. These…

Pros
  • Premium ink with unmatched color reproduction
Cons
  • String shorter than other picks
