Size XL fits if you have a 12" knee, 14" calf and 14" thigh. barely covered the foot and ankle and the fabric didn't stretch as much.

It was too small for me, although I measured and ordered accordingly. The most frustrating thing was that it couldn't be returned, even though I was within the return window the message came back with no return.

I liked this knee brace for my specific knee needs (I'm getting older, I have years of childhood sports injuries and high school track, now I'm naughty and easily injured again) except the stitching that through the back is very uncomfortable and annoying to the point where it can be quite painful. So unfortunately I had to send it back.

True. The material is a good insulator and keeps the knee warm. It has enough compression and stiffness to offer some stability (although it's not a substitute for a foldable device if stability is the primary concern).

Solid product to aid in knee pain and recovery. I think I have either superpatellar bursitis or quadriceps tendinitis from a blunt injury just above the knee. Bending the knee caused a lot of pain, even just sitting - which didn't work very well given my office job. I bought this for a knee injury. The sleeve offers excellent support. The sleeve fitted well, my knee was 14 inches. I bought a small one and had to do some stretching first to make the brace a bit wider, the process was easy and worked by adding about 1/3" to 1/2" to the sleeve.
