worth your money!

Rather than looking for a tripod sturdy enough to attach an arrow to, I recommend this stand. I have a ProAm mini boom and I have to say this stand holds up great. However it can be very heavy at times, I'm not exactly sure what the weight limit is and I haven't had the opportunity to use a full sized arrow so I can't give it a full 5 stars. Another great stand! It feels like it will take just about any dart you can attach to it.

good partner for a crane

I wanted to use a tripod with an 8ft crane but the crane is too heavy so I ordered a stand. The stand is very stable and fits the faucet well. I'm using a lightweight camera (Canon XA10) with a 15lb counterweight and the stand is very stable, indoors at least. The faucet and stand connect very easily with the included brackets (my tripod had to do a lot of hardware shopping to even try to work).

  • This is amazing

  • Not the best

Solid product but there is a small problem.

It is reliable, well worth the investment and seems sturdy HOWEVER I was very disappointed to see that the legs are not individually adjustable. So if you are shooting on uneven terrain, the tripod is broken and the only way to solve this problem is to put a piece of wood under the leg or something similar to level the tripod. However, ProAm is a RELIABLE amazing company, that complaint aside they will definitely be my first choice when buying video gear!

Great price and quality finish

I bought the crane, boom and stand together and cannot say enough good things about this product. It is very durable, well built, easy to install and disassemble. After a few crane/jib setups I can get it up and running in 15 minutes. The only downside is that it can be a little cumbersome if you need to move it around. But for this price no problem. If you take the time to balance the weight properly, this piece will be as smooth as silk. I've considered purchasing the stock kit that is…

ProAm Stand Strong and Light

The ProAm Camera Crane is designed for use with the DVC 200 and 250 Series Camera Cranes. I was impressed by the low weight of the racks and above all their stability. The stand can be raised if required and is equipped with a locking pin that is permanently attached to the stand. I've used a stand with a faucet inside and out and found it does the job perfectly. The stand is lighter than a tripod but strong enough to use a crane safely. When shopping for a faucet, I think most people will…

Okay, let's face it, you can buy a speaker stand from Guitar Center and it comes with a little "sleeve" adapter. It's pretty much the same EXCEPT if you buy a speaker stand it's probably more expensive AND you have to figure out how to drill a hole in the grommet, you have to figure out how to attach the grommet to the stand. so it doesn't twist or turn when you rotate the arrow. You're going to spend an hour at Lowes, drill a hole for an hour, and then forget you need to buy some washers, a…

Great cheap alternative

I use this dart stand which is designed to be used on regular tripods and does not come with the ability to be placed on such a stand. While I wasn't willing to shell out $3 or $400 for a good tripod, I settled on the ProAm outrigger support, which is rated for up to 100 pounds. It works great but I wish ProAm had put a large diameter pull handle on the mounting cup that goes over the mast. I think the small handle could have been changed to reduce the chance of the counterweight hitting the…
