Sturdy Safety Shoes

These shoes have a much stronger base than standard post-op shoes. The square toe and extended toe also offer much more protection. Earlier this year I had a standard post op shoe for broken toes and broke a toe on my other foot and got it due to a new fracture. The bed of the shoe is quite hard but overall I feel a lot better walking in these shoes. Just buy a soft insole and you'll be fine.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Helped a lot during recovery

It wasn't recommended by the doctor but we decided to give it a try as my husband is recovering from a horrible accident and multiple broken bones all over. When he learned to walk again, he couldn't wear normal shoes, but he needed something to cushion and protect his feet. They were wonderful and amazingly durable. I believe this pair (I have to buy one for each foot) will last until he can return to more regular shoes. I read them regularly.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

  • Negative experience

It worked. the best in braces, splints and braces

These are pretty chunky shoes, it might be nice to just get both. I was limping but not from a broken toe, the boot was higher than all my shoes apart from some low wedges that I have. Really convenient and they work cheaply. I'm a women's size 11 but could go down a size. My toes were barely visible in the shoe. If they fit better I could go with them, but they were too bulky for that. But in fact, all of this is the least of your worries, if you need it at all. Happy healing!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Questionable buy for seniors

Size Comparison Best in Medical Supplies and Equipment

This would be the right choice for my tendon repair if it was the right size. I read over half of the reviews and checked the sizing chart and although there were conflicting reviews on sizing I finally settled on women's sizing. The shoes in my closet range from 8.5 to 9.5 and they all fit. It's my own stupidity for not asking someone to take an American standard ruler or tape measure and measure the bottom of the boot in inches. That would make my choice perfectly clear. I took off my shoe…

It seems to be a quality product, but it's no use :(

Overall, this post-op shoe is of satisfactory quality and well designed for limited use. , Post-op people don't need as much padding as people who are recovering from Sore tendons and arches Many people seem happy with the amount of cushioning in these types of shoes I don't wear them Some tendon pain But they can be quite bulky and I was really hoping to find something less tight to wear can wear home when the tendon flares up again I was hoping this product would fill that need that the…

Pros
  • Stable test results

  • Unbelievable price

If in doubt, take less.

I ordered these as an affordable alternative to the breakout cleats I use. A boot is definitely preferable for weight shifting, but I was now being told to stay as far off my foot as possible and needed something that would work with my knee roller. The shoes are the same quality as other foot/post surgery shoes I've seen. I like that the Velcro can be removed and repositioned. The sole isn't as stiff as my boot and I would have liked more stiffness, but that's okay for the price (and…

Work Man for Fracture & Cast Boots

Pain in right leg when bending toes up. I don't know how I was injured, but the pain was in the first metatarsal area. As a worker, I have to insure the lazy, but I'm not insured. The only reasonable solution, regardless of the actual problem, seems to be immobilization. A doctor's bill is out of the question, and these post-op shoes are way cheaper than a no-insurance fine, so I bought them. I wear size 10 shoes and ordered a large size. It's huge. At first I considered returning it but then…

I like supportive post op shoes more every day

I wear Darby style post op shoes due to an injury and concomitant surgery on one of my feet. I've tried many different cam shoes and boots over the years and lately I've tried many different ways to find shoes that offer support, stay secure, aren't too heavy, are flexible enough and are comfortable to wear in all conditions. the day is long. I only wear my shoes for a few months at a time because they still smell like feet even after washing them and I can't get rid of the smell. I bought…
