I used the same brand and design case for my iPad Pro that I bought in 2017 and it was great and durable. However, the one I bought for my 4th gen iPad Pro 12.9 inch wasn't as impressive. This case is perfect for iPad Pro. I currently have a Smart Cover Keyboard and a thin back cover, the iPad fits into the case and holds it nicely. I also like that there is a special storage area for pencils. I use my iPad Pro for work and this case is great for taking to and from work and keeping everything together.

Yes, it works with 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 because the 2018 version is smaller than previous generations. However, this makes the case appear too large. I'm looking for something that looks like it was made for the 2018 iPad Pro, not one size fits all.
