I had high expectations based on several previous reviews. However, expectations were not met. They felt great in the hand, looked great, the blade was easy to adjust but with the cone lever the blade moved. I thought it was a one off script so I switched to a different one and the same thing happened. I disassembled and tried to adjust the internal mechanisms but it still worked. I sent both back and will look elsewhere.

At first I was pleased that they looked exactly like my Babyliss clippers but within 3 weeks of having them they stopped spinning and the blades were already blunt. . I charged it and the battery light didn't come on, no kidding, after that I went to get the clippers from my station and dropped them, they felt very hot. I've never come across this in 10 years of cutting my hair, it's too late to go back. So tinker around a bit

This is one of the best hair clippers I have bought. not to mention they look sick. I have a couple of Andis Masters. I don't even use them anymore because those who can't use them have to learn how to cut them because they disappear quite easily, you can just get a second pair.

Not sure how long they will last because they are only $27 wet. But when I used it, there were no problems at all. My Taper came out better than my choice Senior and Andis Masters. I would recommend this to anyone looking to do their own cutting. Excellent, light, good engine. The motor is better than the Wahl Elite Pro I had. Hit them with a ceramic blade and you're done. Loved the color and weight of the machine. I cut and used them right out of the box, but they work very well with the zero missing. The shields out of the box aren't the best and seem pretty cheap, but the Wahl shields fit these clippers so it's not a problem. What I liked most about this clipper was everything. They are very high quality and last a long time. I easily get 3 normally 4 cuttings without reloading. They cut easily and have great cutting power. They fit perfectly in the hand, but are not heavy. Much better than the big box clippers I bought a few years ago. I recommend spending the extra money on these quality clippers. The only thing I had to replace were the guards, which I was missing. Otherwise a very, very good buy.

I got the Kemei 1986 last week and was blown away. This is an amazing hair clipper that requires no modifications out of the box. I was so impressed that I ordered a Kemei 2850 modeled after a popular brand. They look great and feel great in hand but definitely need some modification before I can give them a thumbs up.
