Loved the color and weight of the machine. I cut and used them right out of the box, but they work very well with the zero missing. The shields out of the box aren't the best and seem pretty cheap, but the Wahl shields fit these clippers so it's not a problem. One thing I didn't like is that the lever doesn't open as far as my magic clips or other clippers I've had. So maybe use smaller guides if you use them as there isn't a lot of adjustment. With lever. When the lever is fully retracted and open you are 3/16 inch clear of the cutting blade and fixed blade. Unlike my magic clamps, I pull 7/16" out of my lever easily. Keep that in mind. Other than that, I'm very happy with this purchase and they're $30. Good job Kemey.
