After 10 minutes under the light the base coat was still tacky. I decided to go ahead with the color coat. It did EVENTUALLY harden. Then came the top coat. Again it EVENTUALLY dried. I’m really impressed with the overall set. The colors are pretty and I like that it comes with gloss and matte top coats. The base coat works ok but I find that it dries a little sticky with it. Maybe I need to use the light longer. But the light itself is not all that strong. I do plan to continue testing it out and maybe using a light for a little bit longer. I buy from my husband's account. My lamp arrived broken but was replaced, so far it has worked fine. The colors of the nail polishes are not like the ones in the photo, I really didn't like them very much but maybe someone else would like them but in general it was a good purchase.
