This dryer came with a heating option which I thought would be nice in the wintertime. Even with the heater off, the air gets uncomfortably warm if you arent quickly moving it across the dog. I have large, long hair dogs so this might not be a problem with a smaller dog. Otherwise it has plenty of power and does get the job done. The hose is long enough and it isnt very loud. I'm sure some might find this odd but I use this to dry bird plumage for taxidermy. I have used this blower for several weeks now and I'm very satisfied. The variable speed is nice with plenty of volume on medium setting, the air warms up just slightly during use even without the heat on and its much quieter than my previous $200 model. The only negative I could find would be the quality of the attachments. They are light ABS plastic and may not last long if you're not careful.

Don't let the small size of this dryer fool you! The groomer we use has this dryer for use at the self bath station so I bought one for home use. One of our dogs is a 75lb Poodle mix with a thick undercoat and this works well. On our Goldendoodle with thick, tight Poodle curls this dryer is powerful enough to straighten her hair to make clipping her so much easier. This little dryer has been named "Greg". It works well for its size. The hose came loose just shy of a month owning it. I thought it had broken, but figured out after speaking with someone who repairs dryers that the hose just needed to be screwed back in. Which if you are not familiar with these it seems odd. Greg is back functioning. I would buy him again for the smaller dogs, but will need to still get something with a little more oomph for the double coated ones.

I don’t know why I didn’t buy this sooner. First use great, look forward to giving the pups a great blow out after their bath from now on! Dryer power was great!

Bought this after years of using a regular hair dryer for our dog drying needs. And WOWZA was it worth the price. Drying is cut in at least half. This thing has so much blowing power the water FLIES off my dog. Be ready for a spritzing if your helping the person drying! Absolutely worth the money for the higher power and hose to get in all the nooks and craneys!

The velocity is sufficient but not enough heat. The hose is too short to reach my dog on the grooming table, requiring me to set it on the table. It did a great job blowing out his coat and overall, I quite happy.

I like the fact that the air doesn’t come out hot. The hose heats up so it takes a couple of sittings to get our fur beast dry.

I have Great Pyrenees and she has a humongous undercoat, this blower cleaned it all out ,it was unbelievable, like a huge snow storm saving me a trip to the groomer which payed for the blower first time out.

I had one previously(not this brand) that I really like for my show goats & lambs used for 2 yrs until it stopped one day. This one is super easy to take to shows, toss in show box and off. 2 butons for heat and blow setting. Dial for how hard it blows. All in all handy machine. Only down side is little connect for hose breaks easily. It does job when u need it.

Both my kids are raising goats for FFAand they needed a blower to prep the goats for show. Unfortunately they are quite expensive. We thought we’d try this one figuring if it’s not strong enough for the goats we can always use it on our dogs. Well, it’s perfect for both. Best part the animals seem to really enjoy the warmth when you turn on the heater. It can be a bit loud, but still worth it.

Love the power of this! However, even if you turn off the heat setting, the air still gets REALLY hot. Which, if you have a husky is not a great thing being that you have to blow their coat for about 30 min to an hour.

I have 2 labs and a pomsky. Powerful dryer works on all the dogs. I can realistically dry 2 dogs after a dip in the pool in about 15 minutes. So glad I purchased this no more wet dogs in the house!

This dryer is great for my four dog family. We are all shapes and sizes and this is saving my a ton of grooming money. Would like to find a longer hose for it but this one works!

This drying was louder than my blow dryer. My puppy hated it. On the other hand, she realized real fast that the hand blow dryer was the lesser of the two evils. Product was sent back. We now use blow dryer.
