This product changed my life. I'm a busy mom and I don't have much time to get dressed in the morning. This flat iron makes my hair super smooth and super fast so fast. I use this every day! I leave the comb (albeit a removable one) and always point the arrows down. You can tell right away if you are using it incorrectly because when the comb is up it can pull on your hair. I like this hair straightener. I only have to run the straightener through my hair once to straighten it unlike others where it takes forever and I get my hair done in half an hour which is way better than an hour with a regular straightener. I have dry, very wavy, thick hair and the steam added moisture to my hair in just the right amount of moisture which complemented my thermal protection. No breakage when using the comb provided. Can be returned. I have experience with other steam rectifiers - all "unknown" brands. They were all the same (with a built in comb) and adjustable temperature settings. I paid about $60 for the first one I brought. It's been the best yet, even with this Steam Pod. I accidentally left the 1st in a hotel room and it was never found.
