Cheap protection: power strips and surge protectors

I have a 3350w RV with built in protection. Yes it will work but it is built into my automatic switch which will cost 1,000 to replace. This article tells me how good the socket is, but it protects for a lot less money.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No automatic

Don't ride in a van without him

This little prankster saves lives! It protected my device from lightning strikes and multiple surges in parking lots! I love it! It's not bulky or big, easy to store when traveling. It is also very easy to connect.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not bad

Don't tell you tension.

This should tell you the line voltage. I connected this to the socket. He showed green, good to go. However, our electrical controls went out in our RV because a leg was below 104 volts. I'll get something else or use a multimeter.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Disappear

I'm not sure if it worked at all.

I was so excited to get this and the second time we used it we had a splash and it smoked my converter literally rolling smoke out our door. I'm having problems with the fuse box and my fridge is having problems. Thought it wouldn't happen.

Pros
  • Datura 🔥
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Check the connection before connecting your van.

It's amazing, it consists of two parts. After testing the plug, place a surge protector on the plug and plug it in. It's hidden under a cover for your power supply to keep it from being stolen. it's much better than posting it where everyone can see it. Even use it on my generator just to be on the safe side.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Fits

Bomb, every RV driver should have a tester

Revised: Good concept but use has revealed a possible fault in the surge module. The original OEM plug on my unit would typically handle 50 amps with the surge module installed, thermally neutral, and the plug end destroyed. Not sure if this unit can handle a full 50 amp load. Buyers should understand that when an overvoltage occurs, the overvoltage module is exhausted and needs to be replaced. The bomb tester is really cool and practical. Cons: Few instructions for a beginner. WE RECOMMEND…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Low maintainability
