A must for your Harley!

I installed these progressive front shock absorbers on my 2007 Harley-Davidson Heritage. I am very happy with the result and I feel like I have a completely different bike! Highly recommended! Eliminates the dreaded dive on bumps in corners or when braking with the front brake.

Pros
  • This kit contains a pair of high performance gas pressure mono tube fork cartridges complete with fork spring kit
Cons
  • . There are other interesting options.

Missing Shock Parts

I bought this item with free shipping from Revain. It had no upper feathers. I had to call Progressive Suspension and they were kind enough to send me the part for free. There was some kind of failure, maybe someone ordered it, removed a part and sent it back, but who knows. Revain didn't have any others in stock either to send me a new one. Generally this delayed fitting the front of the bike by a week.

Pros
  • Improved Front Brake Dive Resistance
Cons
  • Unsafe

The front has changed a lot.

Rides great, doesn't need to dive, feels very solid. You can make this swap without a fork rebuild gasket kit! They only recommend adding 5 ounces of oil so it's not pressurized anyway. If your seals are ok you can reuse them without removing the upper tubes from the lower fork sliders. Mine was upgraded to a 2012 Softail Deluxe. I used a spring in the 4 clamp C method for a 1" drop, but that's just over a 1" drop. (This will make sense once you look at the instructions.) Again two firing pin…

Pros
  • Improved front end stability
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
