Day and night! for Motorbike & Powersports

I noticed a difference on the first two rides after installing these shocks. No bottom and noticeably smoother overall. Costs money. I will install progressive springs next week. 2003 street slide.

Great shocks for the money

Great shocks for the money. I installed them on a 1999 Road King. The ride is much better than standard pneumatically adjustable setups. Installation took about 20 minutes including installing the tool kit (head and open end wrenches).

There is nothing better

I was skeptical about how much cheaper they are than the next best thing but I was pleasantly surprised. Both in terms of ease of installation and ride quality. Adjustments are effortless and I barely felt the crappy roads we were on.

Cons
  • the list will be long.

Installed on my 2001 Roadking Classic was great. Installation took about 30 minutes. You need an elevator. I bought Progressive 444 shocks for my Ultra Classic and loved it so I decided to try the more economical 412s for my Roadking. As a 240-pound rider, I opted for the heavy-duty shocks when riding with two people or when I have a touring pack.

. This shock kit made my 03 Road King handle better than new

Along with the mono tube kit these shocks made my 03 Road King handle better than new. A big improvement over stock. ***** UPDATED *****. After 3+ years I have to say that these shocks and the mono tube front suspension upgrade were possibly the best upgrade to my Road King that I have ever invested in. They still handle great and are a huge improvement over the stocks. Rest assured you won't be disappointed.
