These shock absorbers are hard. I ordered a stock spring for my 01 Road King, I'm 230lbs, my wife is 130. Handling seemed improved compared to the stock shocks but as far as bumps go we hit a bit, these shocks are stiff. I'm glad I got the stock springs instead of the recommended heavy springs.
