Just assembled and I love it! Bought two for my office and added crystal handles to finish them off. Live looks even better. When I bought it I was concerned about the look of the fan blades but now personally it was a great choice at a great price. Addendum: I still love it!

Fan Chain. So it gets stuck and you can't control the fan. Even if you set it up outside, for example on a covered terrace. The glass dome covering the bulbs is open at the top and is not just for collecting insects. It doesn't have a remote control, so take out the ladder if you want to toggle the weapon on and off.

We bought two of these fans to replace our old fans when we decided to convert our already covered patio into a screened patio/porch. We replaced the floor, two fans and two lights, installed a porch, built a new entrance and door, and it turned out beautifully. The problem with these fans is that they just can't get enough air through them. We have a Hudson's Bay Tropical Fan the same size as these and it moves a lot more air than these fans. It's too late now, they've already been installed.

I love my new fan! Beautiful and very quiet. You can also choose both sides of the fan blades. This is a braided look and the other side is more like a striped "vein". There was a lamp in the kit but we didn't put it in. I thought it was a great price compared to the many "Blatt" outdoor fans I've looked at. And the ONLY negative would be that it's not a remote control, but for us we didn't need that feature as we NEED to turn it on with a switch anyway. So I can only recommend it!

I love this fan. Used it to replace a 25 year old tropical style bedroom fan that was definitely outdated. It fully decorates the room and completes the look. When you walk in you definitely notice the fan and it's so stylish. I am using palm leaf side blades but any fan blade option would be great.
