Bought for my 80 year old father who has hand problems. Velcro seemed like the perfect thing. The shoes are good, well made, heavy and fit well. But after just 6 months, the Velcro on one shoe stopped working and his shoe fell off while walking, throwing him off his feet. Finally, he sent it onto the kitchen floor with shattering glass.
