Good looking lightweight shoe with excellent support

Got these shoes after getting a pair of low boots to replace worn out laces. So impressed with the support I bought three more pairs. They are snug so you might want to go up a half size, especially if you plan on using orthotics. High quality, nice color, leather upper and light weight. Also apparently approved by Medicare for diabetics. Haven't tried to see if I can get a script for them but I will try. Be sure to use the Revain wardrobe return option and get a pair in different sizes by…

The best shoes for tall and heavy people

I've had several pairs of these shoes over the years. I'm tall (14 EEE) so I'm a heavy person and this is the only shoe I've found with really decent cushioning that doesn't break down over time. All other shoes initially feel soft in the first few days and then wear out or never have enough cushioning in the first place. These are not the most stylish shoes but they fit me very well. Good for the office or trips. Soles wear out like iron. Original insoles wear out after a few months, but…

Super comfortable until the sole tears.

I ordered these about 6 months ago and they were so thrilled I ordered another pair in August in brown. Unfortunately, the sole of the black couple's right shoe ripped in half today. I change shoes daily so for the last 6 months I've only worn them 2-3 days a week and I have office work - they don't wear out much. Very disappointed and I just hope the brown couple hasn't broken up too. Revain's return window was only 30 days :( **************** Update - I called Propet and it looks like they…

Cheap men are best in shoes

Took them out of the box and checked if they sent them to the store for a buck. It looks like cheap shoes. I bought them on sale for $55 and when I saw the shoes I thought I paid too much. The molded plastic sole feels slippery, I can't imagine wearing them on a snowy surface. The frame is almost 1/4 wide so the shoe is 1/2 wider than it should be. I was actually glad they didn't fit (loose in the heel) as it gave me reason to go back.

They are surprisingly wide in the 5E version.

It's so hard to find an extra wide toe in a shoe that can pass as a dress shoe! , Back problems. I realized - we've been breaking our legs for too long! Chaco were my first clue - they are so great, I would love to wear them to work. I live in them except for very active exercise and then work. Then I discovered Altra sneakers. Age! how cool are they My fingers can be spread wide like Chaco! I was so happy! Finally. I was tired of fitting into "wide" shoes that weren't actually that wide! Last…

I had to update the rating. When I first tried on these shoes I couldn't fit in. A few days after I first reviewed these shoes, I received another pair of Propet shoes. My feet fit in these shoes. So I tried the shoes on again. To my surprise, I was finally able to wear these shoes. I realized I must have had swelling at the top of my legs which has since gone down. But although I couldn't get these shoes on my feet initially, I have two other pairs of Propet leather casual shoes in the same…

The best men are the best in Oxfords

Very comfortable shoes. I frantically searched for comfortable shoes for my large feet. I walk a lot for work and when I leave home I walk 3 miles to get exercise. I bought my first pair of M4070s in late summer. I can't believe how much use they have with very little wear and tear. The shoes I buy, which I mostly wear on one side, heal very quickly. You broke this mold. They have held up very well. Now for the cons. The shoes hold tight, but the insoles wear out quickly. I called the company…

Comfortable, supportive yet lightweight shoe

I bought these shoes at an incredibly low price - so low I thought there was a mistake in the description. So the fact that they appear to be of such good quality is beyond incredible - maybe even a miracle. I like the height of the sole which is slightly higher than most hiking shoes; I have narrow feet, so I'm very happy that these shoes come in this width. I ran three miles in them today and they were perfectly comfortable right out of the box. Arch support is average so I added my own…

Severe loss of quality.

The Village Walker (bought) was my everyday shoe for several years. The last pair I bought had an eyelet fall out after three weeks. I switched brands and had to replace it in about six months. I bought them hoping for better quality. and the right sole caved in on the outside of the heel after two days. I'm now wearing the right shoe from my three-year-old pair (the sole on the left broke after 2.5 years).

  • Ideal for outdoor activities
