First the good stuff: Chunky sole

First let me say I wanted Mary Lous again but they didn't come in black only white and I wanted black. Good first: thick sole, slightly raised heel, fully protected foot, solid and comfortable except for the not so good: tongue digs into my foot, I have to slide it to the side before velcroing and there is no air . legroom. On the bus, in the sun, my feet bake and sometimes they get hot, red and swollen when I get home. Later. I had to throw away the shoes. I don't know what's wrong but due to…

One of the worst shoes I've ever had!

I usually buy Propet slippers on hiking boots but these were recommended to me so much that I decided to try them. What mistake! They seemed perfect. The problem was the tongues in the boots. They were too big and the one in the right boot kept puckering, resulting in 3 big bleeding cuts down the top of my legs after wearing them for several hours (I didn't attach any pics just because the cuts were so amazing! ). I had no idea these shoes would be such a problem for me! If these were regular…

Short straps on narrow side but strong

This is my third pair of this style. I like them because they are very durable and last quite a long time - my last pair put in a lot of use for five years. However, they are not ideal. Velcro straps are short so if your feet are swollen and you need to adjust the top this can be a problem. They are also on the narrow side. Better order one size larger than your normal shoes. I've worn them in rain and snow and they've been fine, although their treads aren't made for snow or ice. They are…

Propet Walking Shoes

Bought these for a nursing home resident I visit who had diabetes and bad shoes but was not yet eligible for prescription diabetic shoes as defined by Medicare. Fine. She received these, essentially the same shoes, just without the "custom insoles." They are still better than what they wore before. She says she likes them and they feel good. She wears them all day and no one has seen blisters or signs of wear on her feet. And they look good, have a curved sole for walking, good arch support…

Not suitable. won't let me give back He gets ONE.

I'm looking for new shoes for my mother. She has horrible feet, bones, hammer toes, one foot bigger than the other. You name the problem, my mother has it on her legs. I can't find shoes wide enough in store so I have to buy shoes online and buy one pair at a time (takes time!) and compare them all to see what kind of shoes she can wear. Meanwhile I walked past the Revane return window ONE day and now I can't get it back. Cannot be used, cannot return. And oddly, the amazon doesn't have a phone

Disappointed and very dissatisfied!

My daughter bought me a pair of these shoes for the holidays in December 2013 because I have had the same shoes for a number of years and have found them so comfortable in the past. However, these shoes were not the same brand and style as the shoes I have worn in the past. I wear a medium size 8-1/2 and this time the shoe is too loose in the heel and doesn't hold my foot securely. Worst of all, no "breaking in" contributed to the comfort of the shoe as the leather is too stiff and the sole is…

I bought several pairs

I can hardly find shoes to wear. I need good arch support. With my bursitis, I also have to watch out for the decorative seams on the shoes. With too many shoes, some of the seams and seams on the toe or side panel go right over my ball of foot. This makes the shoes painful to wear. I wore another more expensive brand of hiking shoes. This company stopped making shoes with Velcro. I always hate it when a favorite product goes out of production. Finding what I like can be difficult. These shoes…
