💈 Proraso Moustache Wax 0.5oz Review

I'm actually new to handlebar mustaches and have been using Cremo Gel Hair Pomade for about a month now. I decided to try something specifically designed for this job. .Hair gel pomade works better. It may require a little more experience to use properly, so I'll take it with an open mind, hence the 4 star rating. BTW, from the picture of the item, it looks like it's in a container about the size of a gel hair pomade. But it's very small. See image.

I've used quite a few mustache waxes and this is by far my favorite. It's nice and creamy to start with, it's easy to apply but lays well on the mustache and offers a great hold. It's less waxy than most other waxes I've tried and more than others I'll likely continue to buy and use. Plus it's a good price compared to some of the more expensive ones. This can be applied to dry or damp hair, but I've found better results when dry.

I bought this wax because I heard it was supposed to get softer and harder over time. However, the Proraso mustache wax I just received is rock solid. This is the hardest mustache wax I've ever seen and it took me a knife just to scrape it off and try to use it. After vigorously rubbing the sliver of the blade in my hands in hopes that this supposedly "softer than most" wax would soften, it instead took on a "booger" texture, like flakes and boogers in my mustache looks. FINALLY! A mustache wax that works without compromise. I almost gave up the idea that I would ever find a mustache wax that would do what wax is supposed to do without causing any glaring problems.
