📺 Proscan 49-50 Inch 4K Ultra HD Television Review

After about 7 months, the picture started to flicker when the television was switched on for the first time. It didn't last long at first, but became permanent within a few weeks. There is no option for repair or replacement, despite the manufacturer's warranty protecting it from defects. Many call Revane and Curtis to no avail.

Works great! Not sure what I expected for the insanely cheap price, but a very nice picture. Let's see how it holds up. The speakers sound muffled (no bass or treble). I bought a $15 set of LED computer speakers from Revain that plug into a headphone jack and use a USB port for power. Now it looks great and sounds great.

This TV was the perfect size and light weight which I liked. Regardless of whether we were using the soundbar or not, each increase in volume resulted in a distorted crackle. Revain support referred us to the manufacturer who wanted us to prove we bought the TV before providing support. So we sent it back and got a full refund from the supplier straight away.

The only thing I don't like is that the TV can't display lower resolution images without noticeable blurring/degradation. Solution - Use the new UHD resolutions. When I first set it up, the backlight seemed very harsh and difficult to see. Everything is looking much better now, I assume the internal settings changes finally fixed the issue, although most of the changes I made were rather minor adjustments.

This is a terrible product! I bought it for my son as a Christmas present and when I received the first one it didn't work. So I gave my son my Samsung TV which is a great product and sent back the damaged monitor. They sent me a replacement and SURPRISE after 3 weeks it has no picture and only sound. The TV is good BUT I will not buy it again. I needed a small hanging set in a very small space so I bought this one just for the size. We have DirecTV that doesn't recognize this brand. It forces us to use 2 remotes and I HATE it! We called Direct and were told that this brand would not work with their remotes. I will make no more mistakes.
