This product is a complete waste of money. The instructions were confusing and the remote didn't work half the time. Yes, it up-converted my DVD's to HD, but the picture quality was still subpar. The design was also clunky and took up too much space. Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable DVD player.

DO NOT buy from this guy! I have a brand new HGMI DVD player that not only isn't new, it doesn't work at all. There are scratches where he used some kind of tool to open the case and it didn't work. Manual opening doesn't work either, and neither does the remote control! It's totally useless. He's lying! It's not new, just repackaged. Shame shame shame taking advantage of an aging disabled woman who doesn't have the money to throw it away. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF !

I've had this DVD player for 2 months now, I've used it maybe half a dozen times. It stopped working, all discs inserted into the DVD player gave a "Bad Disc" message. I contacted Proscan customer service, they told me to turn it off, turn it back on, wait 30 minutes and see if it works. Obviously not.
