The 2.00V undervoltage cutoff in these regulators is absolutely useless for LIFePO4 batteries and will destroy them if you don't take other protections to have . This is not a battery protection board. Additionally, the lack of terminals or heavy gauge wires makes these 100 amp(?) boards very difficult to use. You will need to make solder connections to traces on both sides of the board with heavy gauge wires if you are going to use them for anything other than low current. Not an easy task…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Good price. in chargers

I needed a LiFP BMS replacement that can handle 100 amps. My guess is that the battery's current BMS was defective. In my case replacing the BMS was easier than taking the battery apart and testing the cells. I have used this BMS successfully. I was able to pull through about 100 amps momentarily (less than a minute). The problem is getting enough wire to safely carry 100 amps at around 12-13 volts. There just isn't enough room for enough cables. BMS is too small for that. I haven't measured…

Slow and tricky balance feature

This charge controller does what it says in the fine print, but still leaves a lot to be desired. I tested the controller with several LiFEPO4 chargers, a regulated current limit power supply, and a Fluke multimeter. I was able to insert 14AWG solid wire into the terminal holes as shown. I soldered all the wires and crimped the lugs for a decent 60A setup. I think 100A will push it, although I haven't thermally tested this unit. This controller protects the battery pack from overcharging. In my
