I bought this water bottle and it came with a cracked bottom. They sent me a replacement free of charge. I didn't get a chance to actually look at the first one because of the broken glass. After looking at the replacement that was sent to me, I noticed a few slips of paper locked in a bottle. One of the newspapers says that it is not recommended to wash this bottle in the dishwasher. What I like is the carry case and cleaning brush, great additions but the glass itself. Little did I know it couldn't be dishwasher safe or handle hot drinks (tea) like the last one I had. If you are looking for a glass bottle, I recommend this one. I use it at my desk every day and refill about 4 times a day. The lid can leak a little, so I wouldn't put it on its side or put it in a bag. It can be a little weird and drippy when drinking, but no big deal. The seal in the lid is very sticky and will slip out, causing liquid to get stuck there.
