I prefer such a case to a soft one. This offers a little more protection, but don't expect your drive to survive a fall. I was lucky to have my drive in this case because it survived falling on the carpet. This case makes it easy to store my various portable drives in the trash can. Thumbs up. (I would buy again.)

Perfect for my Toshiba 3.0, 1TB. I've been using this case for over a month now and I have no regrets. I have had other cases for other drives and I will say this is the best of many. It has a small velcro strap that helps keep the drive in place in the case and a small pocket on the other side allows you to keep the mini USB to USB cable in place. Just a great occasion!

I bought this to protect an old windows hard drive that I bought new a few years ago. The case is tight but works. It uses velcro for the nylon strap inside, but I can put my hard drive in without opening it. The net mistakes my short USB cable for my drive. I am pleased with the purchase of this case which has served me as well as my hard drive.

Great case for my Toshiba hard drive. On one side it has a small pocket for cables or stuff, as well as a velcro strap to hold the drive. I've actually bought a few of these for many other small Elex's to keep safe. Great product at a good price.

Works as advertised and great value for money. I use it for my Seagate. It fits well and I have no problem closing the case. The body looks solid enough. I accidentally dropped the case on the pavement and it seems to have protected my external drive. I would recommend this case for the value for money.

I have a Seagate Backup Plus hard drive and this case fits perfectly. It feels like this case has been specially customized for this particular drive. Mesh storage pocket is ideal for USB cables.
