We have used these to protect metal chairs from hitting a granite counter when turning, especially with children and it definitely helps! Adheres to the surface and has an ideal thickness.

Looks good, the adhesive is difficult to remove from the back which causes the adhesive to wrinkle a little. As a result, I was unable to apply an even line of glue to the protective case, leaving some areas with less glue. Let's see how it holds up!

I liked the length of the product you receive. It was very easy to install. I bought this product to protect my bay window sill from my 11 month old teething twins. Unfortunately, this product was not suitable for my needs. The adhesive isn't strong enough and my daughter tore it off the window sill with her teeth on her first test drive, damaging the paintwork quite a bit.

What don't I like?1. The end of the tape is hard to find2. The width is too narrow to provide adequate protection from walls and skirting board edges3. Our stairs are made of marble and have very sharp edges. My son slipped a few times and hit his cheekbone. I decided to buy just one roll to try it out. It has remained so until now after about 5 months. I like that it is very discreet. We use it all the time as we are constantly pacing. He did not sleep and protected my son several times! I just ordered a few more to cover the entire staircase!

2 main complaints about this product: 1) it's not very wide. There are probably dimensions, but I don't think I noticed. The coverage on both sides is only about 1/4 inch. So 1/4" at the top of the step and 1/4" at the front. It covers the sharp edge, but barely. 2) The tape is a separate roll, so you need to measure and cut the tape, then cut the plastic corner, then stick the tape on the step, then try to stick the tread directly on it.
