Simple and Accurate Measuring and Marking Tool

My husband and I are replacing baseboards in our house and this tool is just what we need to finish the job. Our corners look great!

No alignment issues

Right out of the box I checked for an alignment issue that other people sometimes complain about. Mine is dead. Works great, useful for a lot of chores around the house.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Small effective tool

Very good item with significant savings compared to other similar products. Plastic but showing just the right angles for skirting boards, shoe lasts etc. A simple product but very useful. I don't know how well it will handle everyday work, but it couldn't be better for the home.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing

Same problem is best seen on protractors

This one has the same problem as Startt, it's off 1 degree at 90. Which can be good in all hands for a handyman/homeowner, but as a professional carpenter I've just bought a tool for a specific job and it's not going to do it well. I have herds, some people get a good 1. If the seller CHECKS then send me a good 1, I will update. On the plus side, it's cheaper.

Pros
  • Direct reading from miter saw operation with two easy to read scales
Cons
  • unreliable

When you need precision

I'm a carpenter and I'll admit that trying to find a real 45 isn't all that common so that means lots of test cuts, but no more even with this simple one tool gives you perfect, precise cuts every time, meaning no more wasted time and clients are happy with your professional-looking work. Saves time, saves you money, which means you make money.

Pros
  • Protractor saves time and reduces waste
Cons
  • No automatic

It's Accurate - Measuring & Marking Tools

I like that this tool is accurate. The numbers are good, but you have to be careful when counting the line they point to. I had to go to Utube to see the guy using it. Make sure you rotate it to the correct position facing you. I used it on a kitchen ledge with odd angles. I plan to use it on all the baseboards in my house that have rounded corners.

Pros
  • The protractor O-ring ensures smooth and precise operation, eliminating error-prone calculations when miter cutting.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
