Not sure! for spare parts and accessories for power tools

I love Kreg products. There are many in my store. And I trust them. But this product is not safe at all. I installed it correctly. It is very easy to install and set up. But after a few uses the two adjustment bolts just slid down and my work fell into the hole in the router table and I got a good rebound. I'm not sure if it's just the one I bought defective, but I don't want to risk it again.

Easy to install

I recently assembled a router table and decided to use these mounting brackets instead of cutting the table top. If you take the time to carefully cut out the mounting plate hole, installing these leveling brackets is as easy as inserting into the corners of the hole and attaching to your desk. Adjustment screws make it easy to adjust the plate so that it is completely flush with the table top.

Easier than precision shoulder milling.

This is a great and easy way to install and align the router table insert. I have found that the easiest way to use them is to lay the table face down on a flat surface after marking the hole. After lowering the insert panel into the hole, secure/align each corner and then tighten the alignment screws until they just touch the back of the panel. Of course, this assumes the table itself is flat - check that first! Now simply turn the table over and attach the plate to the levelers. I was alwaysโ€ฆ

Great way to mount the router plate

This system made it easy to install the router plate on my new router table. Instead of leaving angled wooden supports to support the board in my plywood base, I was able to remove the entire subsection under the board, making installation easier. I think I installed the alignment pins upside down as I found it easier to turn the adjustment screw from the top of the table than from the bottom to align the plate (after removing and replacing the fine adjustment plate). It would be even easier if

Good idea but overall not a great design

I think there are two downsides to this product, although if you have a 1 inch top exactly one of them won't fit. Unfortunately I made the top out of two 3/4 inch sheets - plywood on the bottom and melamine on the top. The adjustment screws are not long enough to reach them when I attach them to the bottom of the plywood. I installed them under 3/4" melamine. The screws are coated on the bottom third to keep them from turning but not on the part that was actually used for me and they loosenedโ€ฆ

An easy way to create your own level router table.

That they don't tell you clearly in the manual because you will read in some of these comments that the manual is not very good. They are designed for use with a Kreg baseplate and require a minimum 1" thick countertop. I built my table using 2 3/4" thick MDF boards stacked inside each other and they worked great, it's about a 1.5" thick board of wood. When using these levelers you basically cut a hole in the table that matches the outside dimensions of the Kreg base plate. These aligners screw

Great "out of the box " thinking

I am building my own router table and have decided to use this method of supporting and leveling the router plate on my table. The traditional method of supporting a milling insert is to create a crease (basically a lip) around the insert hole. The problem is that this is a great place to collect dust that is difficult to remove and requires regular cleaning. Also, it's quite impractical to cut the rack to the exact depth you want. This element bypasses everything. By creating a crease-freeโ€ฆ
