I needed a new radiator cap so I bought this because I'm a fan of gadgets. This is ideal if you ever need to service your cooling system, you know when it's safe to open the radiator cap. And if you're chasing an overheating issue, this can help you determine if the sensor or temperature sensor is faulty due to an incorrect ECU signal.

Although listed as fitting a 2002 Mazda Protege5 on the Revain website and PT Auto Warehouse, it did not fit. However, I went ahead and took a chance by going with the T126, which was also listed as fitting my Protege5 and it turned out to be the right one. The one star rating is not based on the quality or durability of this T148 cover but on the incorrect listing that it fits the 2002 Mazda Protege5.
