Not as I expected. for fish and aquatic animals

The filter was great and nothing broke. But cleaning takes a long time. It reloads in about half a day, and I'm not happy with that. I am thinking of upgrading my 40 gallon turtle thanks but to be honest I don't think it really helps.

Not as effective as I was hoping

Has a nice waterfall feature that helps oxygenate the water. The internal filter is easy to clean and replace. However, he still can't keep up with the turtle. The sponge filter around the inlet clogs almost immediately. I have to clean the filter every day and my water is still not clear. It works as described and is easy to assemble. We have a 20 gallon tank so it might be a better fit for something smaller.

Good but not the best for a turtle tank

I was dying to use this for my turtle tank. I love it. It seemed to work better than any other filter I had and kept the water almost crystal clear. It perfectly cleans the water and does not make any noise. It has a beautiful waterfall effect. The only problem I've found is that the sponge filter fills up with dirt pretty quickly. Turtles are notoriously dirty and I have to clean the filter almost every day to keep the filter from clogging. I think it would be great for aquariums with fish…

Defective parts, missing parts, recommended for at least an 8 gallon tank.

Item received damaged. Part of the engine cover was cracked and just floated on top of the crate, it still works fine but it's always annoying when something breaks. . Also, we don't have a hanger in our box, and it says it's included. The suction cups work well but I would prefer to hang them up. There are no assembly instructions, but everything is quite simple and easy to understand. It has good water flow, so I don't recommend it for small aquariums. I have a 5 gallon tank and it churns up…
