Waste of money good for me

The Pulp Riot Semi Permanent Color Smoke is not worth your money. According to my experience, it did not provide the vibrant color it promised or last long enough. The only pro is that it did not damage my hair. However, the biggest con is that it simply did not work as advertised. Save your money and try a different brand.

  • Requires lightened or bleached hair for the color to show up properly, limiting use for those with darker hair.

Doesn't last, not as deep gray as I'd like

I really LOVE pulpriot products, have been using them for several years and keep recommending them to my friends, but they color SOCKKKSSS gray hair. I dyed a client's hair and even after 3 washes the hair hasn't gone back to where we started. The color is also a far cry from the color shown on the packaging. I've never dyed my hair gray but to be honest it was a waste of money.

Don't buy it on hair dye

I don't think this is a true cellulosic riot. The box was completely torn when received. There was a seal on the bottle so I felt safe. I have smoky grey. I have blonde hair and have used other Pulp Riot colors in the past with no problem as it's a fairly easy half dye. The gray has turned blue. It looked fine while it was on me, but when I washed it off my hair turned blue.
